People that want drugs, can buy them from private producers for a monetary valuation, that makes sense for the buyer and seller. Not from government hand outs.

The free hand out of drugs kills the market for the sellers. Thus, no money flows to the drug cartels and the corruption they create—like paying for Dem politician’s political campaigns. The government can get cheap fentanyl from private producers and give it in vials to the addicts along with needles. No need for the government to do the injections. The addict can do his own injections. If the addict overdoses, one less addict to worry about.
This chaos created by drug gangs shooting up their competitors to their drug market would same a lot of money. Theft, robberies, murders and prostitution to pay for drug habits would end. The cost for police would now go to maintaining civil order. Otherwise, get some drones in the air and blow these drug distributors all to hell.
