Children were once perfectly safe in Italian-American neighborhoods. The old Mafia kept the neighborhoods very clean and safe. If a drug addict so much as walked through , his arm was broken as an initial warning. Child molesters were not warned any more than an exterminator would warn a cockaroach.
Yea, and black Americans had to be cautious of “sundown” towns. Neither is a role model.
