These days, crime is committed against the State. When the State abdicates its responsibility in enforcing laws / meting out punishment, the citizens will revert back to original form and mete out their own punishment.
At ALL times, as a juror, I will be a “NOT guilty” for any perp charged with any crime against any government official who has ever expressed support for lax crime enforcement.
