How would another general election be called?

Actually, the Constitution doesn't call for a general election in the first place, and in fact since the process of chusing Electors is a reserved State power, even if there are to be elections, there are 51 of them, not a "general" election.

I agree.

“Something MUST be done!” But for something to be done there has to be a way to do it.

I don’t know if anyone here has worked in project management, but there has to be a process.
