I think it doesn’t have so much to do with the vaccination or the hazards of it. People dont like to be told what to do by a coercive and abusive government.

It is so much more than that for me. I have had covid. I refuse to be vaccinated against a flu that I have immunity for. NOBODY is addressing that issue. Maybe most of those unvaccinated have the same concerns.

1) Covid presents a relatively small risk, especially to the young and healthy

2) There is uncertainty about the risk of the vaccines, because they are new

Together these add to a sound argument in favor of saying “no thanks, at least for now” to the vaccines, especially if you’re young and healthy.

But the left would rather cancel you than acknowledge that you might have a point.

In the 1990s, I got the flu shot vaccination for a few years. Every time I took the shot, I got sick with the flu immediately, so I decided to stop getting the shot. Since I stopped taking the shot, the only time I've gotten sick with the flu was 2005.

I prefer to take my chances with Covid rather than the vaccine.

A missionary in Africa whom our church supported called my pastor with an urgent message several years ago. He recanted a dream he had - a message that made me take pause.
