To put a finer point on the matter....as one who
has resided in SLOtown 3 times, the locals refer to
the area as the Central Coast. But the thought that
there is a percieved connection to Southern California
is personally appalling 😉.
I can understand that. The natural boundary between central and southern is the Gaviota Pass, IMHO.
