One reason I heard for ignoring the potentially available treatments has to do with the rules the FDA uses to allow emergency authorization of a vaccine.

If a viable treatment exists emergency authorization can not be used, the FDA would have to wait for full approval before widespread distribution of the vaccine.

So, if Ivermectrin, hydroxychloroquine or any other treatment were determined to be effective the vaccines couldn’t be pushed on the population.

Good points. The money motive was very much a consideration when this bio-weapon/virus was constructed, released and spread over the world. Hardly some spontaneous mutation from the Wuhan market, this chimeric organism was carefully crafted over decades in various labs. This becomes clear when one follows the patent applications(see the link in comment #32) .

I hate when an evil scheme succeeds so well.
