Note that men are at a higher risk for the wuhan coronavirus. They have more stored iron.
Find a group that is at higher risk for it, they seem to always have more stored iron.
Many Asian countries have many people with iron deficiency, and fewer people with excess iron. These countries are a lot less affected.
