Curious to know what “group” they claimed to be from. I think that would be some decent information. Did they say they were in a militia? Did they identify what “militia” they’re apparently affiliated with?
On a side note, if you wanna go run around in the woods, pretending to be Jack Bauer, it would be good idea to drive up there in some shorts and t-shirts and get your battle rattle on, when you get to the training area. Dumbasses.
I sure hope somebody was smart enough to track where those guys ran into the woods, following their footprints, hopefully with canine assistance.
I’m thinking those “Moors” might’ve had some toys that they didn’t want State Police to find (can you say “grenades” with a straight face?) so maybe they ran off to bury them.
Just a guess on my part. But I think we’ve had plenty of experience joining the terms “Muslim militants” and “explosives” into the same sentence.
Two more points:
— The Crusades were fought against the Moors, as we called them then.
— Heavily armed Muslim militants on July Fourth weekend? Really?
Were they Amish? Or Eskimos?
Could have just as easily been the local PDs SWAT team or a group of FBI agents. How could you tell the difference?
Moors = Black folks.
Am I the only one who saw the Herald went to great lengths to hide the fact these folks were black?
I have no problem with them doing what they were doing however the Herald tried very hard to bury the fact of their identity.
Everything I needed to know about the Moors, I learned from The movie True Romance.
Did they think thousands of Morons would come out and support them ?
Just watch! Only 5 will be indicted because the other six are all FBI assets.
Thank you for the post, bit.
The question nobody has asked yet is, “where were they heading?”
Well Son of a Bitch. Another blackfaced White Supremacist militia group. Faux-President Joe Biden warned us about them. Looks like he was right.
Wakefield used to be nice.
Stop! I don’t think I can take much moor!
Wait a minute they were the “Rise of the Moors.”
That doesn't sound like a white supremacist group! Is Joe wrong again?
“.....The latest video shows a man decked out in military gear insisting that “we're not anti-government, we're not anti-police, we're not sovereign citizens, we're not Black identity extremists.” Locating himself in “the colony of Massachusetts,” he insisted in one of the videos that his nation — he pointed to a large Moroccan flag two of his compatriots were carrying — has a treaty with the United States......”
But the next one didn't fit the plan. Instead of a white supremacist being anti-semitic, some guy with a middle eastern name tried to kill a rabbi in front of a Jewish school.
And then, perhaps due to the darkness, the state police decided to question some people wearing military style clothing who were just tending to a car on the side of the highway. Those people turned out to be a group who apparently wanted to exercise their 2nd amendment rights to cross Massachusetts with their firearms.
At first I am sure there was glee in the PR department - another example of "white supremacist" danger. But then it turned out they had just rounded up a group of black people who believe in the 2nd amendment, along with some other more unusual ideas.
The Moors in Spain slept gently on the plain.
What?

They have some wacky ideas, but in reality just traveling across Massachusetts with firearms when you are from another state should not result in any charges based on Massachusetts firearms laws.
Watched Fox News tonight and no mention that these were Black individuals or African Supremacy Nuts. Very bad because the average Joe would have assumed that they were White Supremisists as presented by Fox weekend staff. Guess we are back to hear no evil see no evil unless Caucasians are the perps.
