The only way to improve schools is get rid of tenure...My wife was a first grade teacher...and she saw it first hand.....they also need some kind of test....to see if they can control a class room and actual teach...
There is a difference in school systems some are great and big cities are terrible....
I have a friend who is a flaming liberal and she teaches in a small rural county. She is one of the few leftist I can debate and we can still hug each others necks and agree to disagree, truly rare. I give her credit she tries to do it right down the middle, however she will openly acknowledge there are others who are very liberal politically and don’t hesitate to bring it into their classrooms even in a rural Tennessee county.
