The current 100+ degree temperatures in Oregon are certainly Mother Gaia’s punishment for the wickedness of using fossil fuels. Surely if Oregonians swelter and shiver in their darkened homes, die in the heat by forgoing air conditioning, starve because their is no diesel fuel to power the farms that produce food and have neither water nor sewage treatment because of blackouts Mother Gaia will be appeased and there will be environmental Utopia.

I put in solar and battery systems every day every week let me educate a little bit as an engineer
Solar panels Phitovoltaica. produce DC.
These are tied into what’s called an inverter
The inverter then produces alternating current AC
Solar inverters are 5 V above the utility wherever they are and therefore push electricity downhill toward the utility
Batteries are also direct current DC
He’s also utilize an inverter but it much more sophisticated it further I’m gonna call here in a real inverter it will run your house off of the batteries without the utility at all
It sure everything is a sea chest is your standard 120/240 single phase residential household electricity
Now when you’re trying to run a power grid you need something called reactive power
This is the power that is used to start motors
The reason why PG&E the largest utility in the state of California needs power now from 4-9 PM is because we have 32,000 MW of photovoltaics installed
I’ve been saying for decades now if I keep putting solar panels in everybody’s house of business house PG&E gonna make any money?
For the municipal utilities out here in California smile and Lodi electric Modesto irrigation District Turlock irrigation district a party stop net meter and put a meter on your seller and only give you wholesale now
If you’re at the helm of real property you really have two choices pay the utility or put in solar panels
