Seeing ICBMs at launch is something we’ve been able to do for decades. I did so in 1979 at Cape Cod AFS, and it’s what Woomera AS, Australia did when I was stationed there in 1982.
Shooting them down is another matter entirely.

We KNOW when they launch. WE then launch. Pushing the button for them is the same as pointing a pistol at their heads and pulling the trigger.
BTW, we’ve also known for decades where the Commie leadership goes to hide from our return fire. It simply can’t be hidden well enough due to all the tactical support a move in VIPs generate, I mean trucks, ships, trains, radio traffic, comms of all kinds, and structures hidden deep in the forest/deserts/mountains we can see from above.
