Been married over 38 years and the average (after the initial rush) is still intact . . . roughly 5000 times after the initial rush of multiple times per day. More would be better, but still not bad.

The story goes that President Coolidge and his wife were taking an official tour of an especially noteworthy farmstead. The farmer boasted to Mrs. Coolidge that his prize rooster could "do his duty" (mate) a dozen times a day. Suppressing a grin, Mrs. Coolidge asked the farmer to tell that to the President, which he promptly did. The President asked the farmer, "Is it always with the same hen?" "No, of course not!" the farmer replied. "Tell that to Mrs. Coolidge," the President retorted.
