That reminds me of when Deerfield, Illinois banned the possession of assault weapons within city limits. Of course, that is going to stop someone who wanted to shoot up some place in Deerfield from going there. “Can’t go and shoot up Deerfield. My weapon is banned there.”
The people who shoot things up in Chicago are going to get their guns, no matter what the law says.
She should listen to that black community activist Tio Hardiman who ran for governor a few years back. He said the gun violence problem in Chicago was caused by there being too many bad people.

Maine is 95.5% white.
If you eliminate the First Congressional District....the most liberal area of the state in the southeastern corner of Maine.....20% of Maine’s land mass.... and only count the 2nd Congressional District.....27,000 square miles, or 80% of the state....the demographics are probably in the high 90’s concerning the white population.
The Second District was carried by Donald Trump in 2016 and 2020 earning him one electoral vote each time. He and his family visited often during the election (s).
Hell; just talking to a WHITE reporter is a CRIME according to lightintheloafers!
