I’m a strong believer that the communist Oswald did it alone. Just a few weeks earlier he tried to kill a general. Occam’s razor points to Oswald too. I had a Russian gf with me at the JFK museum and she read his notes to his wife. Said it was looney toon’s ‘goodbye’ stuff.

I think Oswald was the only shooter. But I have long thought that he looks like he is marched right into Jack Ruby by the Texas cops for execution.
I think he could have told who gave him the route through Dallas in time for him to take the job, and probably a lot more.

"The Commie" was recruited by the intelligence community while he was a Marine in Japan. They taught him the Russian language and sent him into Russia as a fake defector so he could leak details of the U2 flight characteristics.
Why did the CIA want the Russians to know details about the U2?
Eisenhower was negotiating a peace treaty with the Russians and the military industrial complex wanted to sabotage the talks. The Russians shot down the U2 and the talks were scuttled.
"The Commie" was then returned to the US for "other duties as assigned", one of which (unknown to "The Commie") was to be "the patsy" for the JFK assassination to fool folks like you.
Mission accomplished.
