The Number of Small Businesses Destroyed by COVID Lockdowns Will ASTOUND You
PJ Media ^ | JUN 13, 2021 | VICTORIA TAFT

COVID shutdowns championed by U.S. governors and D.C. bureaucrats are responsible for destroying nearly 40% of small businesses since the virus was unleashed on the world—and we know now that it was for little to no damned good reason. A study by the Proceedings of the National Academies of Sciences revealed recently that shutdown orders made little to no difference in COVID’s impact.

...

While bureaucrats gave Walmart, Costco, Lowe’s, and other big-box stores “essential” status, allowing them to stay open during the COVID pandemic, 38.9% of America’s small businesses, the providers of most of the country’s jobs, were forced to close based on fear, hackneyed social-distancing rules, early ignorance about transmission, and an insatiable desire by governors to micromanage the affairs of men.

In short, small businesses could have operated the entire time, exactly like big-box stores did, had it not been for tyrants in statehouses and mayor’s offices around the country destroying lives in the name of “science.”

...

Most of the destroyed businesses were in the hospitality industry.

The states hardest hit were those dependent upon those industries: California, Florida, New York, and Washington, D.C.

Some governors, among them West Coast governors Gavin Newsom of California, Jay Inslee of Washington, and Kate Brown of Oregon, still refuse to give up the emergency powers invoked during the pandemic so they can drop the hammer on people’s freedom at their next whim.

...

Small businesses –- those with fewer than 500 employees -– are 98% of the businesses in America. They are responsible for 62% of all U.S. jobs. Fully 89% of these small businesses employ 20 or fewer employees. They are the backbone of job creation and an expression of American enterprise, entrepreneurial spirit, and individualism.

Covid is a biological warfare weapon ( one of many) used by the globalists in order to take over the USA

They are repopulating the US with immigrants to erase our identity so they can own it,

controlling the system of information to divide and confuse us, so they can control us

buying up the property to get it out of individual control so they own it,

eliminating competition to consolidate and own the market shares of business

and using money given to them by our politicians to make it happen, incrementally and exponentially

This ‘virus’ was unable to survive on all the Amazon boxes for some reason. I think it was the stock that Pelosi received in January 2020 and made some $6 million that defeated it.

What will astound you more is their replacements according to treasury secretary yellan the pandemic has a bright side she said! We will be encouraging Blacks, people of color trans gender, lesbian ,gays, and women by helping with low interest loans and grants to reopen these businesses that were permanently closed due to our deliberate force closing because of the scamdemic

Small businesses = Kulaks

I just searched Kulaks on the Internet it said that they were peasants in Russia wealthy enough to own a farm and hire labor. I got the impression that the land was around 8 acres or more then 8 acres. Considering many people have 8 acres or more in the United States this is concerning, considering most new houses being built now days that aren't a condominium, or town home do not have a front yard or back yard worth talking about. And many of those people that have more then 8 acres are not rich but inherited it or land was dirt cheap when they bought it a long time ago, and the only people they might hire is the guy that cuts the grass if they don't cut it them selves.

It was an opportunity to change the demographics of the small business owners, and it wasn’t even concealed; plenty of programs were publicized to help businesses owned by females or certain preferred minorities (while those owned by Mr. Honky McCracker went under). This was just an extension of the pre-scamdemic programs that were designed to remove white and Asian men from small business ownership by artificially bolstering their otherized competition.

That was Russia as an agrarian society. Those landowners would be considered the same as small business owners. Self sufficient, independent, same concept. Stalin hates both agricultural kulaks as well as small businesses, run at the time by Nepmen. Both were obstacles to mass collectivism.
NEP: New Economic Plan. Lenin’s revolution and following civil war resulted in an economic disaster. Collectivism was not working. So Lenin took a step back and allowed small businesses. This was later done away with under Stalin.
Much later, there was a significant black market economy under Brezhnev. It somewhat filled some of the gaps left by the planned economy. It was allowed as long as the right people got bribes, and one kept a low profile.

Most new homes in my area of Southern MI are built on 2-10 acres with 4-5 acres being a popular size.

I don’t know what they do for a living but those homes ain’t cheap.

I looked it up and the annual property tax on a 500K home in my area would be about $15K a year.

If it was a 2nd home or a rental it would be about $25K a year.

NAIL SALONS and Hair Salons are doing a booming business. We got use to Amazon Prime shopping too. Niche stores never had a big business. Why do you need a store that just sells ‘homemade’ bar soap? Malls had to many niche stores, to expensive, clothing for under 30. Little for Seniors if any. At near 73. T’s and NON-RIPPED JEANS. Size 5 shoes can only be found on line. I quit looking at shoes in stores over 20 yrs ago, got tired of being told try the Kids section.

Michigan. They also have a 6% sales tax, a income tax, and the highest auto INS rates in America.

For all that they might plow the roads in winter if you’re not too picky when they get to it!

7,000 pop, Grocery Store, Nail Salons, $$ stores, Fast food is still all drive thru, or Pizza delivery. No real industry. Next town over has 15 K, home of a Navy Base, except for Pharmacy, Minor Med, Lowe’s, Walmart, not much different, that county is home to BLUE Memphis, so their lockdown orders effect the entire county., And where all the doctors and hospitals are. Small doc offices didn’t fair well, nor Dentist. It’s a 2 hr round trip for us + wait time sitting in masks not able to breathe well. Brass live in the nicer ends of the County. Retirees tend to move to another county nearby.

Support any and all small businesses that you can! This includes paying a little more if you can afford it.
And no, you free-market blah blah blahers; corporations are in bed with government. So your argument is invalid.

You would gladly step up and pay for the lawyers to defend these small business’ that would have to defend themselves against scamming people and lawyers and their frivolous lawsuits, right?
