A local men’s clothing store shut down over the past few months
Three (???) generations operated that store.
Every October/November they put up their Veterans window.
Displayed their founders’ military uniform, and same era uniforms from other branches of the military.
Also, content from that era bout WW2
Will be missing that store
Sad times for many smaller businesses. We had over a 100 go bust in Key West alone due to a far left mayor who hates capitalism and Republicans.
The War Museum has a few photos and other displays, but the primary exhibit is 271 US military uniforms donated by veterans or their families. The uniforms go back to the Civil War, and run to current times.
No admission fee, just donations. Great place for a day trip, for those of you in the upper Midwest. Just be prepared for Illinois gas prices.
