My comorbidity and 70+ age were the dominant factors in my risk vs. benefit assessment. And now I read that the mRNA vaccines appear to be holding their own against the Delta variant festering in India. I was fully vaccinated three months ago and not noticing any adverse reaction, yet...

In my immediate circle of about 20 (morning coffee crowd etc.), one death and one hospitalized for eight days then on oxygen for two months.

Agree...this is a personal decision, and advocating for or against vaccination must be tempered by personal data.

You are right. I got caught up in virus stuff since thurs. when my computer came back to life and could not tear away from it.
By the way talking points remain its all Trumps fault no matter what the damage he did it. Without out Trump they have to lie 80% of the time instead of 66 2/3% of the time.

Each and every one was killed by the dems. In addition rational suggestions by our side were ignored over and over. Jimenez(pronounced: he-man-ez) was visibly upset after going through the ordeal. He was used to dealing with a rather large body as he was the Mayor of Dade County and was used to compromising all the time he is really good at it. He knows how to structure a deal that will pass a vote for both sides. He flat out said that their side has no intention at all of ever compromising with us and it really upset him. I don't think he realized who they really are.

Yes, herd immunity is part of the answer. As for definitions, the J&J gene therapy (adenovirus vector for DNA changes) is considered a method of vaccination and has been for at least 10 years. It creates antigens. Immune system is supposed to be antibodies for the antigens although my antibody test was negative. I'm going to try again this week. If it's still negative I might have to concede on the vaccine definition.
