Austin is a cess pool dominated by liberal politics and academics for decades. I do not understand the attraction.
Sad. I went to college there and worked there for a while. It was a nice town. I haven’t been back there in 15 years. I sure do miss the BBQ.
It’s climate change. /s
Didn’t someone say the solution to climate change was jobs? Or was that unemployment pay was the solution to the economy?
Yeah.
Well, given CRT being force taught to everyone, Biden saying White Supremacy is a greater threat than ISIS, and psychiatrists bragging at Yale about killing white people and having a bounce in their step afterwards....
Stating to look like Chicago numbers, meh. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

Homeless camping was not voted out in Austin.
Gov. Abbott signed a bill making it illegal, afaik.
6th Street is where the weirdos hang out. Move it over to E. 6th Street and your adding illegals to the mix.
We were there recently and had bbq twice at one of ourr favorites.....Rudy’s
Still good!
I haven’t been back to the Salt Lick in years but remember it as very good, too.
The original Chuy’s is still doing a brisk business.......but now they’re franchised all over!

It now allows ( even though it was recently voted out) homeless to pitch tents and live all over town.
It’s nasty now

I was there 5+ years ago and was appalled by the number of homeless. I can only imagine what it’s like now.
The wounded/kill ratio suggests the Amish are involved. They still have bad aim after all these years.
I loved hanging out on 6th street. It was the place where all my buddies from back east would get together for a couple of nights. We ate some delicious food, watched awesome bands and afterwards we would go back to the Hilton and chill.
Now? Since the whole diversity push in Austin several years back, 6th street turned into one big hot mess. Traditional rock and roll venues are now rap clubs. My buds and I no longer desire to be part of it.
Jobs. Unless Biden and gang destroy them.
The commie librats did the same thing in Denver and Boulder.
It’s too bad there were no social workers available to dialogue with the shooter and find out why he was upset.

Also a Gloabalist consortium (blackrock) funded by Obama stimulus is buying up every single family residence they can ( starting from the bottom) so that soon the socialist globalists (G7) will literally own the USA.
add to that we lost our ability to vote and have no representation to vote for anyway
Horrific times, The USA is being sold and dismantled
I used to live right next to Fuschaks in San Marcos. That’s where I learned about smoked Brisket. They would load a giant baked potato up with it. So good. Now I’m up in Ohio where they act like they’ve never heard about mesquite. I think they use liquid smoke at some of the places. Even if it’s decent, it’s not the same.
right before the BLM frenzy started I was going around to gun stores several days a week stocking up on ammo and every time I would see this same guy who fits that description buying up shockingly huge stockpiles of weapons and ammo it was jaw dropping. I asked the clerk about him and they said hes there every day but theres nothing they can do.
I would bet a paycheck he's an FBI spook
