A few years ago a high school friend and I had a discussion on our IPhones about a guy we knew in high school. We were speculating about whether this guy was on FaceBook. The next time I went on FB, the guy was in the line of ‘people you may know’ on my Timeline. It is really scary how much data is being collected about EVERYONE. And yeah, I know I shouldn’t be on FaceBook but it is a quick connection to relatives in other countries.
If you want to see something really scary, if you had that discussion sitting next to your phone (not talking on it) the same thing happens.
People have described being at certain legitimate businesses where the owners have insisted they leave their phones to the side while they discuss business.
