Not only are WE screwed, but anyone the world over with anything approaching a conservative bone in their bodies may well be screwed. Just not as soon as us because they don’t have to watch this sad clown show on a daily basis.
I’m no Bible thumper (but I did capitalize it), but isn’t this what the Bible said would happen? A constant march to the left? It happened to the Roman Empire, et al.

What makes you think it's okay to call someone who reads the Bible, the ridiculing term, Bible Thumper? You find that label acceptable do you? There's a lot of wisdom and knowledge in the Bible; it speaks about fools a lot, especially in Proverbs. You might pick one up sometime.
