Taking sides in North Carolina is a sign he could do so in other states
Former President Donald Trump’s recent endorsement in the North Carolina Senate race is the latest sign that he is looking to influence primaries in competitive states, in a shift from recent election cycles.
During the 2018 and 2020 elections, Trump often supported Republican incumbents and the eventual GOP nominees in open races. But he rarely took sides in Senate primaries in targeted states. If the North Carolina race is any indication, that’s starting to change as Trump looks to wield his influence over the GOP now that he is out of office and no longer tethered to the party infrastructure.
“He’s looking at a couple of the seats that are very much key to our comeback,” South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham, a Trump ally who has discussed Senate races with the former president, said in a brief interview Wednesday. Graham noted Trump could back Herschel Walker if the former football player decides to run for Senate in Georgia.

I got some emails from a group called NRSC. I think they are owned by Mitch McConnell. They were using Trump’s new website as a hook to get donations. I clicked the unsubscribe link.
Marco Rubio is a great senator. I forgave him for amnesty. He is better then the moron who thinks she’ll beat Rubio. I doubt Rubio will be primaried in 22...

This worked. It took about three emails of me replying in the same manner, and they remove me themselves from their mailing list. Haven't gotten anything in months. I also found it very satisfying that someone obviously was reading my emails to make the decision to remove me from their list.

I made a few donations to Mr. Trump through”https://winred.com” (WinRed) and for well over a year I get anywhere from 10 to 20 email a day asking for money. The return email address is “@pelosi4never.com” or “kamala4never.com”.
Hitting the unsubscribe link always times out. So I have to mark them all junk and that group will never, ever see another farthing from me.
If I could get a phone number I would call and raise holy hell with some poor schlump making minimum wage to answer their calls.
Just one more reason to despise the GOP.
