Why would someone "need" to fly overseas? Most Americans have never flown overseas. If the thing you want to do requires doing something you don't want to do, you make a choice. The fact that you have a choice indicates you are not "forced". "Forced" requires force. Under pressure? Sure. Forced? No.

I don't think the nurses were fired. To the best of my knowledge, they were simply told that they may not work at that particular hospital unless they are fully vaccinated. This is also common for flu and other vaccines at many hospitals. It's also simply a labor dispute between employees and their employer. If the employees don't wish to comply with the requirements of that employer, they should seek employment elsewhere. That has ALWAYS been the conservative response to labor disputes.
And it was 0.68% of the staff. The other 99.32% were fine with the policy.
