Most Americans do not understans that the British Royal Family and those designated as “working royals” are expected to perform many of the diplomatic and military leadership functions and duties performed by the U.S. Department of State and the Pentagon, as well as social leadership and oversight of the Church of England. The British Crown is responsible for a global strategic alliance of 149 nations of the British Commonwealth.
Being a working royal comes with financial rewards and social privileges in exchange for behaving like top employees of a global corporation.
