I was absorbed from Martin-Marietta when Lockheed took us over. MM was better before that.

I retired before the merger; was not that familiar with the culture within Lockheed but I always thought MM had a higher level of professionalism and integrity. MM impressed me by letting their employees assume as much responsibility as you felt you could handle.
