Years ago my grandson came to visit. He asked why everybody here is SO proud to be in Texas. I took him with me to HEB where he saw Texas shaped baking/cooking dishes and “Texas Proud” labels. He was in awe.
You showed him a cookie and he understood? Still trying to figure out why there is Texas pride since most of our major problems from no prayer in schools to Roe vs. Wade come thanks to Texas.
