I think the debate about it being intentional or accidental is not worth having. In either case, the end result is the same
That’s a very flawed argument, like equating murder with an accidental gun discharge resulting in death. If this was an accident, then the world must demand stronger safeguards. If this was an act of genocide that turned into an act of war, then China must be treated as a pariah nation that deserves isolation and banishment from the world of civilization, or even stronger measures.
I understand that.
However, my point was, that for all practical purposes, since there will be no justice done currently, it really doesn’t matter for us on a practical level.
Whether the release was accidental or deliberate, we have to deal with the same consequences should we get sick. The reason for the release does not factor in how I have to deal with it on a personal level. It’s here with us now and up to us to manage as best we can.
That’s what I was really trying to get across. I guess I didn’t communicate it clearly.
