The GOP must die. The Grand Old Party is over and unsalvageable. The name finds its origin in the post-Civil War era as the party that saved the Union, but whatever positive connotations may have come with the GOP moniker are dead and gone now. Today, GOP conjures images of gray hairs at the country club and board meetings at Halliburton, and it seems the only thing it is nterested in saving is the status quo. There was a time when these perceptions could be dismissed as partisan pejoratives, but at some point, Republican Party leadership chose to embrace and embody the characterization. Fool me twice, shame on me.
As of late, GOP legacies like Paul Ryan and Liz Cheney have decided that they will draw a line in the sand and say "you're either with us or against us." Denouncing the effective but unpolished populism of Donald Trump, they paint the future of the Republican Party as bleak should it continue down this path of uncouth but wildly successful policy. The answer, of course, is a resounding "bye Felicia!" Believing themselves the arbiters of conservatism, they have determined that populism has no place in the Republican Party. By their standards, conservatism amounts to congeniality and infinite surrender. Like a toothless dog that threatens to gum you to death, the GOP has no bite. And I'm left questioning whether it wants to?
Time and again the GOP is swift to embrace the grassroots enthusiasm, fundraising, and voter recruitment efforts, but want none of the policy demands of the foot soldiers of the party. With Joe Biden's paint still fresh on the walls of the White House in January, the RNC began sending out fundraising emails imploring party members to fund the advancement of Trump's America.

GO P
250 years of political history has ingrained the two party system in the USA and making a change to a third party is almost impossible.
It is easier to boot the lez cheneys and mitt romneys out than invent a new party.
The ratio of squishes like to real patriot in the GOP now is about 95-5%. So stay in the rump GOP....
It is better to vote for a Democrat or stay home than vote for a RINO...
Saving the GOP means saving a party that stands for this,
Because Republican voters, for some very hard to understand reasons, do not understand what the Republican Party stands for:
1) Endless foreign wars for alien peoples
2) Destruction of America’s founder population
3) Usury as the basis for the money system
4) Free global market in labor
5) Open borders
6) Destruction of America’s industrial base
The issue is not why “we” keep voting them back into office. The issue is why they are able to even EXIST.
You saw Team GOP sell out the constitution, Trump, MAGA and my grandchildren on 1/7. Yet you have no problem going right back and giving your support to those back stabbing Judases. The strutting fascists in DC, they are the direct responsibility of your GOP. Third party my a$$. The republicans are Uniparty Stooge Team B. We need a real second party again. Putting our faith in Uniparty (R) to protect America has cost us our constitution, culture, security and economic well being. As Trump ask stupid Uniparty (D) black ghetto dem voters, what the hell do you have left to lose? Or is it, “send them your cash, we take the house in ‘22, repeal Obamacare and Huzzah!”? You support republicans? I guarantee you can’t name 10 DC republicans who supported MAGA unequivocally. Trump’s biggest mistake was not realizing the GOP is the heart and soul of the DC swamp.
I recently joined my local GOP and asked for one of the 200K empty Precinct Chairman positions. Turned out they made me a District supervisor. And, I am recruiting MAGA chairs. And, all my existing chairs are strong Trump supporters.
So, quit bitching and join the takeover of the GOP. Since it is a bottom up designed organization, if we fill the 200k empty seats with MAGA, we take over the Party.
AND, we nominate leaders who have a spine!
Washington was prescient.
Better idea...
Screw party.
Vote on principles.
Run MAGA candidates in every party’s primaries.
Why wage half a battle?
Totalitarianism in all forms is Evil!

All Evil. All Fail.
Freedom Works.
It's TIME to DownSize DC!
Restore the Constitution!Size DC!
BINGO !
The whinging is from democrats who seek to destroy their only opposition to their slavery desires.
Nancy Pelosi agrees with you.
RINOs suck $h!+ and so do you.
for later
I agree, the only path to success is to perform a hostile takeover of the party.
The Establishments of both parties are all about using government power for the benefit of their particular donors. We are just on the menu.
How did that 'Bullmoose Party' thing go?
The only party to have a chance to succeed in the United States is the communist party, but they are already here, under the name of DemonRATs.
Um, the Republican Party itself??? LOL.
I agree, the old party/money needs to die. They have no place in today’s society.
Please name anything beneficial to the American people, in the last 30 years, your Republican Party is responsible for. The last of Trump’s “successes”, his tax break, will shortly be repealed. Nothing stands from the Trump years. If you can’t cite one single example you might want to reconsider your position. I’m waiting to be enlightened.
This is the same tired old argument about whether we leave the GOP and change the name, or kick out the rinos.
250 years of political history has ingrained the two party system in the USA and making a change to a third party is almost impossible.
It is easier to boot the lez cheneys and mitt romneys out than invent a new party.
The main problem isn’t Cheney and Romney. They are designated flak catchers. The problem is those who support them in the party. And you’ll never get rid of them. Get close to doing that and they will just collude with progressive Democrats to defeat us. We’ve seen this movie before with many conservative Senate candidates and Trump. It has a bad ending.
The GOP is teaching its voters important lessons. It’s time we be good students and learn from them.
