Dallas, Fort Worth. and Lubbock, among other Texas cities, had traffic circles dating to the mid 20th Century, e.g., the Harry Hines Circle near Love Field. Fortunately. most were eliminated or bypassed between 1970 and 2000. Rotaries are merely a revival of traffic circles.

The only traffic circles that should be in Texas are those that go around the Court Houses.
