So I got the idea of artwork since words are such a problem. Murals are a special type of sign not regulated by content (unless pornographic etc.) Words are prohibited, though every single mural in town contains words.
I am looking for a great facial image of our President. I think I saw a meme with him as a gladiator and holding an upright sword which would be ideal for the 6 ft wide format, painted over his name and date. Leaving the T and the P, of course, as they are not words.
You may have better ideas. Bring them on. So it can be a line drawing or a photo type image. I am not an artist but I do have a video projector to trace from.
This is about government over-reach, petty bureaucrats and First Amendment issues, not to mention a certain party affiliation. Fighting in court will only reward town employees who are always on the payroll. So court is not an option.
As an aside, have you ever looked for images of him that are not insulting? Rarer than hen's teeth, no matter which search engine you use.

The 1st amendment was specifically written to protect political speech. Hang in there and get donations to pay the fines on your way to a multi-million dollar settlement in your favor.. That would be my advice.
