The 1st amendment was specifically written to protect political speech. Hang in there and get donations to pay the fines on your way to a multi-million dollar settlement in your favor.. That would be my advice.
That’s a nice theory. Here no lawyer would ever pick a fight with any government. Sooner or later they might need something from them.
Big settlements and judgments? That only happens in movies.
My social security isn’t enough to handle days of fines. If not paid, they lien the property.
I think I shouldn’t fight town hall, but I can act like a mosquito if I’m careful not to get swatted.

Upstate NY, someone had put up a 4x8 sign on their side fence. The way it shined looked as if it was metal. It was the American flag with white letters "Trump" over it. Beautiful, just beautiful. Really hits you visually when driving.
What I would do, is a subliminal sign. On the American Flag, just have the right sided cast shadow of the letters as if the letters were 3D.
LOL, or paint the letters with glow in the dark paint, still using the American Flag as the background.
Find out what is the legal size for a sign in your town. In mine it's 30".
