Interesting article. Its a bit fanciful, but if the Chinese truly plan to dominate Europe and then the rest of the world, they would run head-on into the Muslims. Because the Muslims also plan to dominate Europe and then the rest of the world.

As a side question, how would the West react? Leaders like Russia’s Putin and Hungary’s Orbán would certainly resist. But those guys won’t live forever. Maybe they’d be replaced by Neville Chamberlain-type leaders. Go along to get along...until it’s too late.

You forget that a large chunk of the Muslim world are effectively just Russian client states. I don’t think Russia would take kindly to China deciding to interfere in their sphere of influence.
