I have learned of a deep generational divide among those with ASD. Older individuals who are strong in systemic thinking tend to be conservative. It fits the rules-based morality they can relate to, and it avoids the drama of “you have to be empathetic and do what I want or you’re evil” that comes with liberalism.
The problem is that the social justice types have “weaponized” autism. Recruiting them as social media warriors, saying you’re emotional outbursts on things are not something to be managed but weaponized to further the cause (see Greta Thunberg), and they’re targeting the kids for LGBT.
