Until now, I had no reason to know who this person is, so I looked her up. She is a singer, dancer, and YouTube personality (!!!) and she will be 18 tomorrow.
This reminds me of the petition last year in Richmond that demanded that the statue of Robert E. Lee be replaced by one of a local hip-hop performer, a really strange-looking black guy who dressed and wore his hair like some wild cannibal who had just emerged from the jungle. (They didn’t actually do that, did they?)
Her claim to fame is the JoJo Bow. It's a hair bow immensely popular with the tweens.....
