All of Arizona has no government mask mandate, and local ones are void. That has not stopped numerous businesses in places like Tempe from keeping up their invalid signs in addition to keeping private mask enforcement in play. I expect that from “Barnes and Noble” and even “Best Buy”, but “Ted’s Hot Dogs” remains masky. Do they not know the profile of a typical hot dog consumer?!

Similar here in North Alabama. Most stores have a “mask required” sign but very few are enforcing it. More and more people are ignoring the signs. Costco is still enforcing it very aggressively. I was told by a cashier a couple of days ago that she would not check me out until I raised my mask above my nose.
