Hey, don’t blame all idiocy on the Western states! Look at NYC — they breed them by the thousands!
That aside, keep in mind that most cities have a rotten core. Not the poor, the stupid. If someone claims that the person laying across the gutter is a poor homeless slob (rather than what odds favor — an idiot parasite who has been using drugs since puberty): they are one of the stupids. Don’t mistake, I’m sympathetic and supportive of folks on “skid row” thru no fault of their own: abusive spouse, sudden catastrophic illness, accident, etc. However, the vast majority are addicts (who refuse any suggestions to change) or those who seemingly can’t make a correct life choice to save themselves -— and expect you to pick up the tab.
This core of stupids run most cities.
I get it. I love bashing California. My state is without a doubt as bad or worse than any 57 states in the Union.
For as long as I have lived here, 45 years, this state has given the most generous welfare payments to the people and have other little tripwires you can touch and get increased payments, wet public housing, free pot if you can’t afford it @ the state’s expense and the biggest magnet of all EVERY DRUG ON THE MARKET IS LEGAL FOR PERSONAL POSSESSION. Including Heroin & Meth.
