Never interfere with an enemy in the process of destroying himself. The next great war will be over the American carcass. This reminds me of the fall of the French Third Republic. Through incompetence, indifference, corruption, perfidy and treason that French Republic and our own fell. I expect the U.S. to eventually suffer a similar fate as the French.

There might be a better word, but I’d add “suspicious” that list. Four guys I know (ex-students of mine) volunteered for the army right after 9/11. They all survived, but one of them came back maimed for life.

And for what? It’s all on George W. Bush. His near-nonexistent WMD “evidence” got us into a horrible war. So who can blame anyone for doubting anything the government says now? The trust is broken, maybe forever.

And, of course, the continually lying media doesn’t help either.
