Football players on the sidelines have always knelt when they didn't feel like standing. They'd always stand for the national anthem. Colin Kaepernick stole teammate Aldon Smith's girlfriend - a leftist of Mideastern descent - and after being indoctrinated into leftist cant, he decided to stay kneeling while the anthem was played. It was several games before anyone even noticed.

Now we have all sorts of idiots kneeling as part of leftist performance art, including the withered and overweight specimens in the photo, all of whom undoubtedly required help to get back up.
