A good friend of mine was a white Polish immigrant kid bused to a largely black high school years ago. He skipped breakfast and lunch because he said it wasn’t worth the beating he’d get if he tried to use the bathroom at school.
And in Africa? It isn’t “skin color” so much as things like head shape and accent that reveal “tribes” - and the Rwanda Massacre is a reminder of how tribal Africa remains!
