It is puzzling to me why a painless drug-induced death is so hard to find. As someone else asked, how are the assisted suicides done? Maybe the special drugs are allowed in those cases.
What about putting them to sleep (for quickness) and finishing the job with carbon monoxide?

Because some Leftist hired a lawyer who told a judge the executee grimaced when they stuck the needle in.
“Pain and unusual punishment.” They’ll rule it is unconstitutional.
