The information at the link below corresponds to a lot of what I have learned about Vitamin C over the years. Different companies have different formulations and prices. It pays to look around. Plain Ascorbic Acid is normally the cheapest. But if your stomach has acid issues then something like calcium ascorbate or sodium ascorbate (not advised if you should go low sodium) are alternatives. I was not aware that there is zinc ascorbate, but I might look into that as a way to get more zinc (protective against viruses) into my system along with the C I need. I don’t think this link mentions powdered C, but some companies sell that, which can be mixed into beverages if you don’t like pills. Google “Powdered Vitamin C.”

All I know is if the Vitamins are “standardized formulas’ then what they say is in the there IS..... Otherwise they can add any fillers they want so you don't know what your getting.

BTW in 2020 ‘GNC’ (Vitamins) Holdings Inc. chain was sold for $770 million to a Chinese ‘pharmaceutical’ firm in a bankruptcy deal.
