My point, some seem to be overlooking, is in every direction Trump was surrounded by career criminals posing as politicians and department heads. 50 years of corruption and all were well entrenched. The outsider walks in and is surrounded by back stabbing cut throats and outright traitors.
More to my point, Trump had few if anyone he could trust. We knew it was bad, but NO ONE had any idea the swamp was the size of Lake Michigan and 20 miles deep.
