Looking around it appears there is no danger, they just want to keep infectious people away.
Though also it may work better to wait.

I go for my second Pfizer today, and was worried that I had a little cough yesterday (but no fever). I was worried that I might have contracted a case - but then realized it was from spending a long time outside the day before, in high winds (no mask).
Wearing a mask all the time has made my lungs and throat soft, to drying winds.
