Fewer than you think since there have not been 50 mass shootings in the past month in America.

And we all know the reason the assault weapons ban expired is due to the fact that they are not being used criminally. Mostly handguns and knives and people using their bare hands.

Without looking it up, I'll guess that most of the "mass shootings" involved Persons of Color shooting other Persons of Color, and involved in some way or form the illicit drug trade.

Further, I'll suggest that the shootings involved customers, suppliers or competitors in the trade. The reason being that if one does not have access to the courts to resolve contractual disputes, the remaining options include "taking out a contract" to resolve conflicts.

The weapon most commonly utilized in mass shootings is a handgun.
