I am working drummer and I use Vic Firth sticks exclusively. They truly are the best. Now I have find another brand.
I got rid of my Zildjian cymbals years ago. I prefer AA Meinl Byzance and Istanbul (for what it's worth).
Used to use Firth because I could find 7A’s..Try BOPWORKS drumsticks... they have historical versions for Swing, Memphis R&B, etc. Never liked the Z cymbals, use Paiste for years now.

Do you a cymbal in those brands that would be equivalent to a Zildjian K?
I was about to purchase a 20” Zildjian K ride, now I need to check out some other brands.
I want something a little washy. Sort of that early Ringo ride sound.
