You're right. It doesn't matter what I think. That said. The judge should had been more aggressive in handling the case. Ban media from the courthouse except for a couple reporters. No cameras. All jurors and reporters will have to stay at hotel if they're not at the courthouse. If they do not follow the rules, declare mistrial.

Problem is that jurors would still be influenced by events happening from outside unless you take away their cell phones and tvs in their hotel rooms, this is not realistic.
