It’s what almost always happens. The mob losing interest, then the facts emerge, then it becomes clear what real justice in the case looks like.
Unfortunately for Derek Chauvin, it’s going to take a while. And the facts may not ultimately let him off entirely. However, he’ll get credit for any time served if he’s ultimately sentenced to some amount of jail or prison time.
