I’m on record here believing the officer should’ve gotten off the guy and rendered aid
But he sure didn’t intend to kill him
Should have been manslaughter
Nobody will be happy
This is what happens when zoo critters take over the zoo
And the zookeepers are paralyzed with guilt for having once been in charge of the critters
I certainly do feel the procedures should be addressed, but they were followed.
And let’s face it, since the 70s when big city Police Departments wanted to start “weeding out the neanderthals” (White Men), the quality of policing has suffered. Police used to be trained in de-escalating situations so that they rarely had to shoot or subdue perps in this way.
Have you ever watched cops? I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone say “Yes officer, that’s my dope”
Instead, it’s “Not mine. I don’t know how it fell in my pocket.”
Criminals lie all the time. I can’t breathe is a common one.
Do I think Chauvin is pure and clean? No. Guilty of murder or manslaughter? No.
Agree. He (Floyd) needed immediate help and was clearly in distress. But the situation was far more complicated than the media ever reported.
He had a prior record. He had drugs in his system.
The media just does whatever they can to stir people up, and make bad situations worse. They do this either by deliberately leaving out pertinent facts, or flat out lying (See: Project Veritas expose CNN).
When are the MSM going to be charged for inciting riots?
