House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calf.) on Monday said Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.) has nothing to apologize for in response to criticism from Republicans over remarks she made in Minnesota over the weekend.
"No, she doesn't," Pelosi said when asked by a reporter if Waters needs to apologize for saying activists for racial justice need to "get more confrontational" when advocating for police reforms.
"That woman on the floor should be apologizing for what she said," Pelosi then said, referencing comments by Rep. Lisa McClain (R-Mich.), who spoke shortly after Pelosi gaveled the House into session for the day.

Well, this way, she looks more guilty. This should have resulted in a mistrial. It will result in an appeal that might get the case overturned. But, by then most of the cities of the US will have been destroyed, and thousands may well have died in the conflagration. Maxine is not worried. She will just continue to lie about White Supremacists. Normalized.
The woman who made famous “’Peach Fo Fi, ‘peach Fo Fi” isn’t up to her own standards? Not surprising.
But Trump, for saying, “Let your voices be patriotically heard,” is a horrible monster.

Treason? No, in this instance, as well as others, Waters & Pelosi deserve being charged with multiple counts of sedition. Problem is, no elected or appointed official has the inclination much less the moral fiber to bring charges.
Why should she apologize, would apologize change anything?

Yeah, I can’t stand the apology industry. They are just used as currency to accrue power. The one apologizing is basically admitting defeat and surrender. Not ironically, Republicans excel at apologizing.
