To the extent Fauci funded the effort, that may be a true statement...

Not an “American” laboratory, but a US-funded lab, and the early research was imported from the US in 2014, because it was thought to be too “dangerous” to pursue this study under US auspices. This was straying into the prohibited nuclear, biological and chemical weapon systems, now partially covered by treaty, but of course, the Communist Chinese Party regime could be relied upon not to introduce this threat to the world. (Do I HAVE to include the “< sarcasm > “ tag here?)

By looking into various patents surrounding the early research into the potential weaponization of the various forms of coronavirus, we find the name of Anthony Fauci, MD, included as one of the early researchers of this microorganism, and the patents issued prohibit the taking up of the study by persons not holding the patent. There may be a lot more about Tony Fauci that is largely concealed from public view.

Just saying.
